Meet Marcia Pivotte
I am the founder of Maisha Roots Therapy, a dedicated MSW graduate with over 7 years of experience supporting individuals, youth, families, and newcomers on their healing journeys. I currently offer virtual counselling for youth ages 7+, Black families, and newcomers, with in-person sessions coming soon. I also collaborate with Dr. Al-Saadi to ensure culturally grounded, trauma-informed, and high-quality care.

Rooted in the meaning of “Maisha”—life—I help people move from surviving to thriving by creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported.
